Torrents - 2010 May 07 FR

I'm feeling rather ill today, so I likely won't upload nearly all of what I had intended. Right now, the Jones show is all that I have up and I am headed back to bed. When I feel better I'll add more -- and update this post, or include things in tomorrow's post if it takes that long.

Today's uploaded to Torrage.com and to these indexers/trackers:
Demonoid, Extratorrent, Fenopy and The Pirate Bay.

The Alex Jones Show - May 07 FR

I very much appreciate your efforts. I have turned a few friends onto your commercial free AJ shows. I am now exploring the other shows that you provide.

I am so appreciative, I would be willing to paypal you a donation. I realize you are not doing this for money but still, your efforts should be rewarded in my opinion.

I'll be checking your blog for a paypal donation link in the coming days.

I'd probably give you a few bucks. Maybe you can get enough to add an external HD and seed those older shows I seek!

Truly I really appreciate the work you do. It's tough doing this day in and out. Hope you're feeling better.

ps - I'm capping the Jack Blood Deadline show and have been posting them. Perhaps that's one less you have to worry about. I'll point others your way in the txt I include with my posts.

Thanks very much for the kind words and encouragement.

I've been doing this kind of thing in one fashion or another for about 20 months, committing serious amounts of time to it for the last 6-7 months. My motivation has always been to play whatever small part I could in waking people up to the treachery taking place in the shadows [well, these days not so much in the shadows!].

It never occurred to me, however, to ask for or accept donations. Why, I've always felt highly rewarded if I received more than 4 or 5 "thank you" comments per week at The Pirate Bay!

Honestly I am flattered and humbled by your expressions of interest in helping me continue this effort. I know that one day the age of my computer hardware will take its ultimate toll, and I have been trying to a little money aside so that I can replace before failure. But in the current economic situation saving is hard.

At present I have no idea how to set up for donations via PayPal or Amazon or Goldman-Sachs or whatever! I can learn, though.

The whole idea still seems a little surprising and strange, so I'm pretty sure this is something I won't be leaping into overnight. But sometime in the not too distant future I'll be writing a post about how I want to try handling this.

For now, thanks again... very much.

@OSX PROJECT

Interesting. I've never heard of that one before.

I know that by using "open" trackers such as publicbt.com and openbittorrent.com enable these torrents to get picked up by lots of indexes. The system doesn't seem to be 100 percent perfect, which is why I continue to do multiple uploads of the same tracker. For now I don't mind doing the extra hand work to create a bit of a redundancy cushion.

Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for making me aware of your work on Deadline Live.

I've always worked from podcast files and was usually only finding 2-4 of those each week.

I'm glad to find that someone is sufficiently interested in Jack's shows to grab/edit/upload them consistently, and frankly I'm kind of happy to have one less thing on my plate right now.

I'll try to get something on my blog pointing to yours for Jack Blood torrents. [As you've probably noticed, the blog looks pretty austere right now!]

BTW, if you don't mind -- where do you upload and which trackers do you use?

Thanks again.

hey, I upload at the pirate bay, extratorrent & demonoid. I've also got my own blog that you can find @ http://gedude.blogspot.com/, I've linked your "5 most recent" pirate bay uploads there. I also put sigs. Even though he's not uploading anymore the archived stuff is equally important to keep alive and seeded. I've been trying to get my mits on your older uploads/archives of Alex Jones and possible Infowarrior. I use a seedbox and be willing to let you access my account so you can upload the older stuff that I can reseed/repost. I have my e-mail link at my blog. If you get a chance drop me a line.

One other thing for you and those who are interested in donating. PayPal and/or amazon are good ideas, but to get the most bang for the buck and avoid any fees that PayPal and/or Amazon may charged, a simple cash, check or money order made payable and mailed to you is probably a better idea. Why let the big bankers suck up there slice of the donations?
