The Alex Jones Show -- 2013 Aug 29 TH

From the Infowars web site :: On the August 29 Alex Jones Show, Alex exposes evidence that the Syrian government used chemical weapons against its own citizens -- pointed to by U.K. and U.S. governments as the rationale to impose strikes against Syria -- as being flimsy, at best. Once described as "undeniable," so-called proof that the Assad regime used chemical weapons is now being heavily contested at both the parliamentary and congressional levels.

On today's show, Alex welcomes prolific YouTube video blogger Joe Mendez, recently the victim of a dubious arrest that led to his legal firearms being illegally confiscated, to discuss the expansion of the police state and the semi-covert war being waged on gun owners, journalists and influential bloggers.

The Keiser Report No. 490, "Sinkhole of Stupid" -- 2013 Aug 29 TH

Blog Misc -- 2013 Aug 27 TU

Today is my birthday. I actually did the math earlier this week and discovered that somehow I am today a year older than I thought I was becoming. Yuck.

Anyway, Mrs. S has been lobbying hard for many days to get me to take a day off from working on the blog today. She took a day of vacation today, and even took me out for a delicious lunch of bánh mì and gỏi cuốn at a delightful little Vietnamese place we found a few weeks ago [Pho Hang & Grill Restaurant - 1701 FM 1960 West in Houston!] I gave in to the point of saying that I would cut back on the amount of time I spent working today.

My intention is to still make available all the material that I would on a normal Wednesday, but some of it may be delayed until tomorrow. I hope you understand. With everything she does for me, making this concession to her seems a small thing. Also, be advised, one week from today is our 8th wedding anniversary and that day will probably run similarly.

Thanks.

The Keiser Report No. 489, "The Killing of Tony Blair" -- 2013 Aug 27 TU

In the second half, Max talks to George Galloway, a Member of Parliament, about the film, The Killing of Tony Blair, that he is crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The film explores the financial killing the former prime minister has made on the mass killings in the various wars he started across the Middle East.

The Alex Jones Show -- 2013 Aug 27 TU

From the Infowars web site :: On this Tuesday, August 27 Alex Jones Show, Alex exposes the lies policymakers are using to justify war in Syria. U.S. warplanes are currently touching down in Cyprus, which is the likely hub for future air campaigns in the Middle East. The U.S. could launch a missile attack against Syria as early as Thursday. In response, the Dow fell near 100 points as investors worry about the war leading to market turmoil.

Dr. Noel Sharkey joins the broadcast to talk about the future of robots for police and military use. The elites could try an end run around the Constitution by deploying robots equipped with weapons that, unlike human soldiers, won't refuse to obey unlawful and unconstitutional orders.

Alex also interviews Paul Craig Roberts on how U.S. officials are radicalizing Muslim groups in order to destabilize Russia and China.

Communication/Correspondence/Contact

If you've been paying attention here, you've probably picked up on the sense that I am trying to de-Google myself; trying to opt out of the NSA surveillance system to whatever extent I can achieve.

Yes, this blog uses a Google-owned platform (Blogger) and a Google-owned hosting system (blogspot.com). It's the best that I can do at the moment. I could switch to Wordpress.com, but that's really no more secure. There are almost no free options for hosting this kind of blog, and I am not able -- yet, at least -- to afford private hosting in a more privacy-friendly country (e.g., Iceland?). So the plug on this particular blog may be one of the last that I pull. Until then, I still want to start doing all I can to make it not so easy to be included in the NSA dragnet.

Email.
I have withdrawn from my the Gmail account for "sebaygo1" to the extent that the main reason I still check it periodically is to see if I have received a donation at the PayPal account that is associated with that email address. And since that happens so seldom now, I may well close that PayPal account and open another, or at least open another one. Currently there are two email accounts that I use.

Bradley Manning's Post-Sentencing Statement

I'd like to know why the puppet currently living in the White House gets to keep his Peace Prize while this man gets locked up for 30+ more years of brutality.

Via darkernet, via David Coombs.

The decisions that I made in 2010 were made out of a concern for my country and the world that we live in. Since the tragic events of 9/11, our country has been at war. We’ve been at war with an enemy that chooses not to meet us on any traditional battlefield, and due to this fact we’ve had to alter our methods of combating the risks posed to us and our way of life. I initially agreed with these methods and chose to volunteer to help defend my country. It was not until I was in Iraq and reading secret military reports on a daily basis that I started to question the morality of what we were doing. It was at this time I realized in our efforts to meet this risk posed to us by the enemy, we have forgotten our humanity. We consciously elected to devalue human life both in Iraq and Afghanistan. When we engaged those that we perceived were the enemy, we sometimes killed innocent civilians. Whenever we killed innocent civilians, instead of accepting responsibility for our conduct, we elected to hide behind the veil of national security and classified information in order to avoid any public accountability. In our zeal to kill the enemy, we internally debated the definition of torture. We held individuals at Guantanamo for years without due process. We inexplicably turned a blind eye to torture and executions by the Iraqi government. And we stomached countless other acts in the name of our war on terror. Patriotism is often the cry extolled when morally questionable acts are advocated by those in power.

From the Infowars web site :: On the Wednesday, August 21 edition of The Alex Jones Show, Alex breaks down the fierce push towards an invasion of Syria with the latest chemical weapons attack being blamed on president Bashaar Al-Assad's regime, instead of the repugnant al Qaeda-affiliated Free Syrian Army.

The Alex Jones Show -- 2013 Aug 06 TU

From the Infowars web site :: On the Tuesday, August 6 edition of The Alex Jones Show, Alex breaks down Time Magazine's push for couples to lead "childless lifestyles," the CPS abduction of a Texas girl that led to her death and FEMA's startling preparations for disaster - involving unexplained demands for emergency bulk food deliveries.

On today's show, Alex welcomes former Congressman, three-time presidential contender and bestselling author Ron Paul to discuss the military's drone strikes in Yemen and America's visibly apparent compliance to the all-encompassing NSA spy grid.

We'll also speak with former Secret Service agent and New York police officer Daniel Bongino about the revolving White House scandals, including the recent overseas terror threat alerts and fallout from the bungled Benghazi coverup of weapons transfers to Al-Qaeda. Bongino is also running for election in Maryland's 6th Congressional District.

Staff Sergeant Joseph Biggs also joins us to respond to new revelations in the Michael Hastings saga as the late journalist's wife makes an appearance on CNN's Piers Morgan.
