During Alex's segment of the show, he continues coverage on the effort to shut down Romney and the threats against his life as he out paces Obama on the home stretch to the election on November 6. Alex talks with Congressman Walter Jones and ace investigative journalist Greg Palast.

Say what you may about Alex Jones, this is an epic undertaking. In 2011 he did a 24-hour marathon "money bomb" broadcast, with a goal of raising $500,000. If I remember accurately, he actually did raise about $390,000. This time he announced a goal of $1 million. It's going to be interesting to see how close he comes.

It is my intention to upload as much of this as I can. I have already had network problems, however. This has become a daily issue with Comcast. Monday and Tuesday the downtime was only 20-25 minutes. Yesterday I had two outages, one of which was well over an hour. Today (so far) it was down twice during the 1:00 hour for a total of just over 40 minutes. Thankfully I can get that hour in a podcast file from GCN.

The first four hours of the broadcast are in standard format, and I will be uploading them in single hour files. Beyond that, breaks will probably be more random and less frequent, so I will just divide things up as best I can.

Internet was down for roughly an hour yesterday evening. Then for about a half-hour this morning. Most recently for two hours (so far) this afternoon. All they will tell you when you call is that it's a "known outage," and that they hope to have it fixed within four or five hours.

Very frustrating.

UPDATE:
No more than two minutes after posting this, I lost my internet connection again. Down for about 15 minutes. What's next? 

Update (7:20 p.m. CDT):
Network is back up. No way to know how long it will last. Last outage was the longest of the day so far at approximately 3 hours 40 minutes. Keeping fingers crossed.
