Demonoid Problem?

Evidently I have something set in my user configuration at Demonoid.com that causes an email to be sent to me when someone posts a comment to one of my torrents. It's not a big deal. I do like to see what sorts of comments are being made, and I don't receive enough of them for this notification to become annoying.

Today I saw a new message [timestamped from yesterday, Monday] saying this:
Someone made a new comment in you[r] torrent "Alex Jones Show - 2010 June 21 MO [sebaygo1]"

To see the comment, please visit the following link

http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/2286860/4900618/#comments
When I went to that URL, I was greeted with this message from Demonoid:
The torrent you requested was deleted by its owner or a moderator.
I immediately went to my "My Torrents" page [http://www.demonoid.com/files/?uid=4900618&seeded=2] and there discovered that not only was Monday's Alex Jones show torrent missing, but the one for Monday's What Really Happened as well!

So far both torrents that I uploaded on Sunday are still displayed, as is the Jones show torrent I uploaded earlier today.

I started having mystery deletion problems at Demonoid mid-year last year, and by July-August they had become so severe, so frequent that I just stopped uploading there altogether. The many emails I sent to admin all went unanswered. Then last fall the whole site went down and was offline for a number of months. This spring when it came back to life, I tried uploading there again and things seemed to work o.k.

But this is kind of feeling like "old times."

If you're a Demonoid user who visits this blog and can shed some light on the cause of this unpleasantness, please do leave a comment here. Otherwise... if this persists or worsens, if I am not able to find a fix, then I will probably cease uploading there in the not too distant future.

Just before the last demonoid crash I had such a problem with one of my torents though only once. Admins said nothing and I let it go. What else can we do really? Seems to me eventually it'll be magnet links solely, if at all. Anyway, my biggest and sincerest thanks and appriciation for/of what you are doing!

Thanks for the feedback, guyz.

Everything seems to be good for the two torrents I uploaded Tuesday and the one I have uploaded so far today. But Monday's work was all lost there.

If it's an occasional, irregular occurrence, I'll deal with it. Last year, though, the problem reached the point where at least half of what I was uploading was being deleted, and that's the point at which I just stopped [there].

Very odd, I've been using Demonoid since like 2006 and I've never heard of them doing something like this. As long as it isn't porn, they're usually pretty cool with what's uploaded. Very odd indeed.

When it happens, the torrent appears to be deleted within seconds after uploading -- certainly not enough time for someone to examine the files and decide they had content that violated the rules.

Last summer, when it was at its worst, I was only uploading Alex Jones shows.

I have had a problem start with Demonoid also, torrents I upload are deleted before they make it to the tracker. Then if I try to upload them again it tells me

* Problem with torrent: That torrent was already uploaded!

It has happened to both TV shows I tried to upload recently

@ sebaygo1: I am having this very problem. After uploading the torrent, in about 5 mins, I get the exact same message. And I don't receive any confirmation from demonoid regarding the deletion, which means that this has to be a bug. I asked about this in the forums, and they said that they are working on this. But it's been days and I still get the same message after uploading the torrent. I am kind of getting frustrated about this whole thing. Hope that they will do something about this soon. Please let me know if you are able to find a way around this pesky problem!

Ashay, I wish I could offer a better path to getting help at Demonoid, but my record of getting anything done when I am having problems is pretty dismal.

You said you have already tried posting in the forum, but I would recommend keeping at it there. I have never had a single email I have sent to the site admins even acknowledged, much less answered.

For what it is worth, Demonoid is working properly for me close to 90 percent of the time these days.

In the last 2 days I uploaded 17 torrents and only 5 appear to actually be available to users on the site. The forum link isn't connecting to the database and second and third attempts to re-create the missing torrents fail as well. Not sure what is going on or how to solve it either.
