As part of their reaction to a recent "security incident," TPB has changed the passwords of all VIP and Trusted Uploaders. Fine. Got that. But though the site is back up, and I assume downloading is possible, a whole lot of other things are still not working or not working properly. Here is the official announcement posted on the "Site Status" board of the SuprBay forum:
Following a security incident and some upgrades to the database the system is not functioning fully reliably at present.
Accounts may be inaccessible.
Torrents may appear to be missing.
Registering or resetting passwords may not work.
Uploading may not be possible.
etc.
The system as a whole is being worked on and that will fix many of the issues.
Therefore, individual problems, are NOT being addressed at this time.
Until further notice, posts in this thread will be ignored
and new threads will be trashed (and quite possibly get you temp banned).
Any further problems please hold untill 100% operational

Locking this [forum board] down until we are 100% back from maintenance then one of us will unlock.The bottom line is I don't have any idea when I will be able to upload at TPB again. I will, though, keep trying on at least one torrent each day until such time as things are made right there, or I feel compelled to write them off as a lost cause.

This is the radio program [programme?] broadcast from Resonance 104.4 FM in London. An hour of Max and Stacy every Saturday evening. Give it a try. I did and found it interesting, informative and entertaining (as M&S typically are). And I'm a Yank!
