More TPB Legal News

Just when you think you know what's going on, things change and The Ol' Pirate Bay find themselves with favorable winds once again at their back.
Dutch ISPs Don’t Have to Censor The Pirate Bay

A Dutch court has ruled that two of the largest ISPs in the Netherlands don’t have block customer access to The Pirate Bay. According to the court, there is no evidence that the majority of the ISPs’ users are infringing copyright through The Pirate Bay, so a block would not be justified.
Read the full story at TorrentFreak, and while you are there, check out this story as well: "World's First Pirate ISP Launches."

Hi Sebaygo1

Thank you for the nice personalized welcome! It's very well... welcoming!

Thanks also for the Pirate Bay articles. They are of interest to me for sure.

Also, since there is a nice, relatively quiet forum here, thought I would share some thoughts about the Alex/Google incident we all just witnessed. (I don't post in his forums much either because the signal to noise ratio is kind of small).

What struck me about this whole affair, and the way Alex's listeners responded so strongly is it seems to me to reflect the general alienation of the American people to the powers that be in the corporate media and government.

It reminds me of France before the French Revolution. The "aristos" lived in a world of their own completely divorced from the common people. And the common people were completely alienated from the ruling classes of France.

Alex's incident seems to point to the deep need American people have right now to actually belong to something. And to belong in a constructive and co-creative way. Americans are sick of being told to "sit down and shut up" (as Alex always says) and are sick of being mindless sponges of the useless pablum forced down everybody's throat by the useless corporate media.

Its really clear from this incident that we all want to be a part of something.

I hope this energy can be harnessed more and more, and be used to restore our Republic.

Ok, done for now. Again, sebaygo1, thanks for the nice welcome, and thanks for providing a quiet spot to talk.

All my best wishes,
Don

Don, it's like Dr. William Pierce said, I'll paraphrase: "You can't convince a lemming that it's path leads to inevitable doom, but you can convince him that other lemmings have chosen a better direction".

Something like that. :)
