TOR Radio No. 64, "Julia Davis on Journalists, Activists and Whistleblowers Targeted at the Border" -- 2013 Sep 26 TH

On this edition of Traces of Reality Radio: Guillermo is joined by former Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection employee turned whistleblower, Julia Davis.  Guillermo and Julia discuss how whistleblowers, activists, journalists and their associates are being singled out and harassed by federal authorities by exploiting the “border search exception” clause governing international ports of entry.  As an insider, Julia provides details as to the special “lookout” targeting systems used by DHS and CBP, such as TECS and NCIC.

Also, we describe how these systems are put in place under the false pretenses of “security and safety,” and inevitably are used to exert more control over the people they are meant to protect.

Note from GJ: Apologies for the technical difficulties that plagued this broadcast! Julia Davis will be back on the show very soon to continue this conversation.

From RepublicBroadcasting.org:
With a passion for Liberty, Guillermo has been involved in the Ron Paul Revolution since 2007, serving most recently as a National Delegate for Paul in 2012. As both a student and teacher of American History, much of what Guillermo discusses is based on a historical perspective, with emphasis on the struggle between liberty and tyranny, our deteriorating Constitution and civil rights. His background in Psychology and Sociology allow him the keen insight to filter through the propaganda and deliver the "traces of reality" that are left behind.
