Big Apple Geniuses, How to Resist Funding the Military Industrial Complex

On this episode of Breaking the Set, Abby Martin remarks on the NYPD's recent efforts in promoting the Apple iPhone's new security features, even though phone hackers can easily override the phones new fingerprint scanner. Abby then talks to Ed Hedemann, founder of the National War Tax Resistance Coordinating Committee, about protesting US government military spending and how Americans can stop financially supporting the military industrial complex by withholding taxes. Abby then calls out Judge Gerald Bruce Lee as the day's villain, for ruling in favor of the defense contractor CACI International in a lawsuit brought by former Abu Ghraib torture victims, citing the two tiered justice of forcing torture victims to pay their torturers for legal fees. BTS wraps up the show with an interview with former US marine, Ken O'Keefe, about Syria war hypocrisy, Israel's non-compliance with the International Chemical Weapons Convention, and the dangers of being labeled un-American for questioning government narratives.
