GAZA TIMELINE.

Nov 8. IDF shot Palestinian child playing soccer from helicopter. THIS HAPPENED THE SAME DAY PATREAUS WAS ASKED TO RESIGN. Remember when I said the media were "Conditizing" us with their obsessive focus on the sex scandal? Gazans then fired on jeep with IDF soldiers, blew up a tunnel injuring another IDF. Israel then shot and killed two more Palestinian children, and opened fire on the tent at one of the funerals.

Escalated until Nov 12, when cease fire was suggested. As soon as cease fire went into effect, Israel assassinated HAMAS military commander Jibari.

"Hours before Hamas strongman Ahmed Jabari was assassinated, he received the draft of a permanent truce agreement with Israel, which included mechanisms for maintaining the cease-fire in the case of a flare-up between Israel and the factions in the Gaza Strip."(Haaretz, November 15, 2012)

The targeted assassination of Ahmed Jabari was followed by an extensive bombing campaign under Operation Pillar of Cloud. The latter consists of a carefully planned military endeavor.

Israel won't halt Gaza operation until Hamas begs for truce, say officials

HAMAS had already agreed to a truce when Israel assassinated their military commander!

Hours before Hamas strongman Ahmed Jabari was assassinated, he received
the draft of a permanent truce agreement with Israel, which included
mechanisms for maintaining the cease-fire in the case of a flare-up
between Israel and the factions in the Gaza Strip. This, according to
Israeli peace activist Gershon Baskin, who helped mediate between Israel and Hamas in the deal to release Gilad Shalit and has since then
maintained a relationship with Hamas leaders.
Israeli Officials Talk Long War in Gaza, Prepare Invasion

Tanks and armored vehicles poured into southern Israel today while busloads of soldiers were brought to the front, as a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, the first since early 2009, seems to be coming closer.

Israeli officials have condemned Hamas for retaliating against their attacks, with Benjamin Netanyahu terming the retaliation a "double war crime." Officials say if Hamas continues to retaliate they will consider a ground invasion, but others have suggested they will keep launching air strikes whether Hamas reacts or not, and it seems increasingly that the timing of the ground invasion is just a question of getting reservists and other troops into the area, with a decision likely already made.

In terms of a ground invasion of Gaza, with all the resources being put into place at this moment, it is not a question of if, but when, it will begin.

Were I a betting woman, I would bet this may well happen over the next week's Thanksgiving holiday weekend, when Americans are distracted by food and football.

Israel blocks journalists from entering Gaza

Israeli authorities are preventing foreign journalists from entering the Gaza Strip despite promises the Erez crossing would be open Thursday.

During Israel's Cast Lead offensive that began in December 2008, foreign media were banned from entering the Gaza Strip under directives from the army and former GPO head.

IF these reports are true, a ground invasion of Gaza may well be imminent.
