San Diego, CA is 64 at noon on Father's Day. Still waiting for summer.
What does it mean "feels like 126°?" That couldn't be right...
I do not know, Anon. I imagine that it was the so called heat index, but it may be some proprietary calculation that Weather Underground does.
You know what wind chill means, aka feels colder than it is. The opposite is true in the warmth, and direct sun. Humidity is a variable with both. If you want the science behind it, feel free to school me when you got it all :)
I do know easily 80F and 100% humid can be worse than 95F and 20%...
Oh and I feel for you Seb! I know it's not nearly as humid in TX as mid atlantic states, but Im a Ginger, and I couldn't go outside there! 15 mins of sun that hot and I'd be messed up!
