Mrs. Sebaygo has been lobbying hard for me to take a day off on July 4th. Part of me would like to spend the day in quiet reflection and mourning for what my country has become during the course of my lifetime. But since installing the little "visitors globe" gadget on the blog I have learned that I have a surprising number of blog users who probably do not observe U.S. holidays. So, I do not feel like I can, in good conscience, take the whole day off.
Having said that, I know that certain content creators whose work I distribute WILL be taking the day off from their work. Michael Rivero of What Really Happened will not be doing a live broadcast on the 4th (will be back live on July 5). And I will be very surprised if Alex Jones broadcasts anything other than a copy-and-paste collection of clips from recent shows. That's his standard holiday fare, though no announcement was made on his show today, unlike Rivero.
No Agenda has announced that they will be doing a show on the 4th -- streamed live Thursday morning, with the edited podcast file made available online in the afternoon. I'm guessing that Max Keiser will do a fresh episode of his Report from London. Don't know about Alan Watt; he seems to observe some U.S. holidays and not others.
The bottom line is that I'll be working tomorrow in addition to spending as much time as possible with the love of my life. The Jones show may be uploaded in a non-traditional format, etc., but I will try to get out all the fresh content tomorrow provides in as much of a timely manner as I can manage. Oh, and we found some organic hot dogs that we'll be having and hopefully enjoying.
To the U.S. users of the blog, have as much of a happy What-Used-To-Be-Independence-Day as you can.

Take the day off, but don't mourn. We all do enough head shaking worldwide with what goes on. Spend the day in whatever way you think the world should operate.
Be the day you want the world to have.
We had Canada Day, and I pretty much ignored it, and just did what I wanted. There was some goofy possible police shenanigans with pressure cookers which I could comment on if there is interest.
