Breaking the Set No. 204 -- 2013 Jul 17 WE

Breaking the Set returned today after a unexplained, unacknowledged one-day absence.

Twinkie Nonsense, Napolitano's Tainted Legacy, Yemen Covert War, Drone Shield: Privacy 2.0

On this episode of Breaking the Set, BTS producer Manuel Rapalo breaks down the legacy of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano following the announcement of her resignation, and talks about why her potential replacement might not be much better. Manny then talks to John Franklin, founder of the Drone Shield, about his new product that alerts users of surveillance drones that might be near. BTS wraps up the show with an interview with Pam Bailey, writer and activist with Code Pink, about her recent trip to Yemen, the effect of drone warfare on citizens, and why so many Yemeni men are now detained at Guantanamo.
