A Devastating Day

.
Friday afternoon Mrs. S had car trouble on her way home from work. We "baby-ed" our 10 year-old Saturn through the weekend, running only the shortest and most crucial errands. Finally this morning we got it into a well recommended shop. The bottom line? We are now $891.34 poorer than we were when we got up this morning. Had we not kept one credit card for emergencies, I cannot imagine what we -- as a single-car, single-income family -- would do.

Any prayers and positive vibrations are very welcome.

I have never been to Austin, would love to go, but it is probably not in the cards this time. But I see a number of pins in the map near Houston at NoAgendaTour.com

ah sorry, i was confused there, i thought you lived in austin. and i could do with a karma shot myself as i need a job.

@brit torrent Good luck with the job hunting, and hopefully we all have a little more karma than most due to our extra ability to instinctively know when we are being lied to.
