Still Alive - Houston Edition

.
To put it concisely, we made it... barely.

Yesterday's drive was surreal. We traveled through 9.5-10 hours of the most intense rain that I've ever witnessed. When it stopped or eased up enough that we could see the clouds, they looked as if they were ready to start dropping tornadoes at any moment.

Exhaustion is too mild a word to describe our condition upon arriving (as it started to rain again). O.K., enough complaining.

We got the car unloaded this afternoon, found a nearby supermarket and picked up a few essentials, then I began unboxing and setting up the computer. Between the shopping trip taking longer than we had thought, a problem with the router, etc., It was much later when I got online than I had intended.

I was very happy to see that Hippie had stepped up and made the Tarpley show available in a very timely manner. Kudos to Hippie and sincere thanks for all the hard work this week.

Unless something happens that I cannot foresee, I should be able to get tomorrow's Jones show and No Agenda up at a reasonable time Sunday evening.

I am very much looking forward to getting back to a more or less reasonable schedule.

Thanks again to Hippie [hope you will consider continuing to upload some of the shows you've posted here this week that I usually don't have time to do]. And thank you to everyone for your patience and perseverance. Finally, big thanks from Mrs. S and me for all the prayers and positive thoughts, kind words and encouragements. You helped us make it through the storm.
