Self-defense or provocation: Israel's history of breaking ceasefires

ISRAEL
2012 - On November 14, two days after Palestinian factions in Gaza agree to a truce following several days of violence, Israel assassinates the leader of Hamas' military wing, Ahmed Jabari, threatening to escalate the violence once again after a week in which at least six Palestinian civilians are killed and dozens more wounded in Israeli attacks.
2012 - On March 9, Israel violates an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire and assassinates the head of the Gaza-based Popular Resistance Committees, sparking another round of violence in which at least two dozen Palestinians are killed, including at least four civilians, and scores more wounded. As usual, Israel claims it is acting in self-defense, against an imminent attack being planned by the PRC, while providing no evidence to substantiate the allegation.
2008, Israel broke the 6 month cease fire with HAMAS by attacking Gaza, then launching CAST LEAD.
IDF Pinpoint Strike on Ahmed Jabari, Head of Hamas Military Wing
Israel did not assassinate Ahmed Jabari because unknown parties were firing rockets into Israel (which had already stopped because of the cease fire). Israel assassinated Ahmed Jabari to throw HAMAS' defenses into chaos ahead of Netanyahu's "re-election campaign invasion."

PALESTINE
A spokesman for the ministry accused the Israel Defense Forces of killing the boy. "Hameed Abu Daqqa was killed by an Israeli military helicopter after being shot in the head while playing football with his friends east of Khan Younis," ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra told CNN.
Israel provoked this military escalation with this horrific act of brutality. ABCNNBBCBSFOX will conveniently forget to mention this murder, and ever obedient to Israel will portray HAMAS as having initiated the conflict, even as Israel admits HAMAS is not actually firing the rockets.
Analysts predict war between Israel, Palestine

Most of political analysts on the Middle East predict war between Israel and Palestine amid the recent aggravation of tension between the parties of the conflict. The Israeli troops are on alert on the border with the Gaza Strip waiting for the order to launch an offensive. On November 10, Islamists opened mortar fire at the Israeli army jeep which led to mutual attacks which lasted for two days.
On Wednesday, after a short break Palestinians resumed missile attacks on Israel.
On Thursday, the UN Security Council held an emergency session on the Gaza Strip. Russia's Permanent Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin said that a number of countries including Russia urged restraint and an end to the violence.
