Quadruple Bypass Surgery Anniversary

Compared to the size of the coronary arteries they are "bypassing," the veins that are grafted in look pretty puny. The Internet says that these grafts last eight to fifteen years before failing.

Tomorrow, March 15th, is the eight year anniversary of my surgery. I'm still here, but I am not sure if I am still under warranty.


Mrs. S is taking me out for lunch Saturday to a place known for their all-beef chili (something I dearly love and have not had in ages). Barring something completely unforeseeable, I'll be back home in time to finish the Saturday uploads by about the usual time.
