2013 has been, so far, something of a lean year. The amounts reflected in this chart represent NET amounts that I received from PayPal, after they deducted their transaction fees.
For the first seven months of 2013, donations have averaged $22.75 per month.
In calendar year 2012, the monthly average was $55.95.
In 2011, donations averaged $88.87 per month.
And during the four months of 2010 that I had the PayPal account set up, the average was $95.30 per month.

On my travels around the net I've come across a great source for financial news in "The real world of money" with Andrew Gause on "One Radio Network" be a great addition to your blog. it's a 2hr once a week show(so shouldn't be too much extra work) I would imagine it'd be ok(copyright wise) to link directly to its download.
