Abby then talks to Shahid Buttar, executive director of the Bill of Rights Defense Committee, about the recent ruling by a federal judge that found the NYPD's controversial 'Stop and Frisk' program to be in violation of peoples' constitutional rights, citing the overwhelming racial disparity in the nearly five million stops made over the last decade. Abby then goes over three recent cases of police brutality making waves across the country, including one case in which a young man named Israel Hernandez died as a result of being shocked by a police Taser gun. BTS wraps up the show with an interview with author and political scientist, Norman Finkelstein, about renewed peace talks between Israel and Palestine, and the key role the US plays as a biased actor favoring the interests of Israel above all else.
