Venezuela Protests, Disingenuous Journalism, Boston's Heroes and Political Vultures

Abby Martin Breaks the Set on Venezuelan Elections, Disingenuous Journalism, and Boston's Heroes.

On this episode of Breaking the Set, Abby Martin talks to RT Correspondent Tesa Arcilla about post-election protests in Venezuela that have resulted in 7 deaths, and have raised questions about the future of the Bolivarian movement. After spotting a few trolls and responding to viewer comments, Abby talks to Mark Ames, senior editor of NSFW Corp, about the media's two source rule, and how the corporate media has substituted accurate journalism for finish line reporting and sensationalism. BTS wraps up the show by calling out Rep. Louis Gohmert, for politicizing the Boston bombings in an effort to push anti-immigration, and highlights peace activists, Carlos Arredondo, for his selfless actions to save lives after the bombings.
