Peter announced at the end of today's show that, beginning Monday (Aug. 29) he will be on the Radio America network. I expect that means instead of GCN, not in addition to GCN, but I have emailed Genesis, asking for information regarding the status of Peter's show there.

He'll be in a different time slot on Radio America [2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Central time], starting at the same time the Jones show ends, unless there's "overDrive."

Most of the names on the program lineup for Radio America are unfamiliar to me. One I do recognize is G. Gordon Liddy, whose 3-hour show is on immediately before Schiff's. Immediately after Peter's show is The Steve Gill Show. Gill seems to have been a big Nashville talk host for 10 years or so. His page on the Radio America site boasts that:

Guests on The Steve Gill Show have included Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, General David Petraeus, former President Bill Clinton, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Senator Joe Lieberman, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolton, country music stars Trace Adkins and Charlie Daniels, Fox White House Correspondent Brett Baier, pundits and authors like Dick Morris and Ann Coulter and numerous others.

That gives me some sense of where this Gill guy is coming from.

At this point I have no idea how readily accessible podcast files will be from Radio America. It's possible that I will have to go back to recording from a live stream as I did before Peter went to GCN. It seems that a good number of people here enjoy getting Peter's shows, so I will do my best to continue to supply them.
