Obviously I have lots of catching up to do and I will do as much of that as I can today. I'm sorry that I was able to contribute anything yesterday -- too many hours on the road and too much exhaustion once we finally got home. Even after a fairly good night's sleep, I am still very much feeling the effects of the stressful weekend.
The entire Houston trip was pretty rough. Too much to accomplish in too little time. We have to give our final yes/no answer to relocating by Friday of this week, but right now it looks like a "go". If we decide to make the move, we will be given the rest of the specifics next week [e.g., on precisely what date Mrs. S would be expected to start work at corporate headquarters, etc.] As best I can ascertain at this point, the moving of all our belongings would take place within the next six weeks... possibly even within three weeks. Yikes.
My sincere thanks go out to BeThePeople and to Xfm for their significant efforts in making a lot of information available during my absence. My apologies to those from whom I've heard who seem to hold the opinion that did not do as much as I should have. IMHO, I did as much as I was able, considering the amount of free time I had and the nature of the net connection. And for what it's worth, three days of Hilton "HHonors" wifi [at $10.80 per day] cost almost twice as much as has been donated to the blog this month.
