TOR Radio No. 67, "Laurette Lynn on Shutdown Threats, 'Anarchists' in the Congress, and Home Education" -- 2013 Oct 02 WE

On this edition of Traces of Reality Radio: Guillermo is joined by author of the book Don’t Do Drugs, Stay Out of School, Ms. Laurette Lynn.  Guillermo and Laurette discuss the American public’s dependence upon government for “essential” services, and how the threat of a shutdown can be used to keep the people in check.

We also explore the use (and deliberate misuse) of language by politicians like Harry Reid, as they attempt to lay the blame for the shutdown on the walking contradictions that would be “anarchists in the Congress.”

We also tackle the underlying roots of learned dependence and deference to the state that are laid in the compulsory public education system, and explore alternatives to this system.

From RepublicBroadcasting.org:
With a passion for Liberty, Guillermo has been involved in the Ron Paul Revolution since 2007, serving most recently as a National Delegate for Paul in 2012. As both a student and teacher of American History, much of what Guillermo discusses is based on a historical perspective, with emphasis on the struggle between liberty and tyranny, our deteriorating Constitution and civil rights. His background in Psychology and Sociology allow him the keen insight to filter through the propaganda and deliver the "traces of reality" that are left behind.
