In reviewing this video I should have spent more time on Yellen's praise of the "innovative" products in the mortgage industry. These "innovative" products, such as negative amortization, interest only, zero down, subprime, cash-out refinances, no-doc loans, were at the heart of the housing bubble and the ensuing financial crisis.
