In their coverage of the Snowden affair in particular, the mainstream media has traded a role as government watchdog for one as government's lapdog. The Young Turks' Cenk Uygur calls them out (brace yourself, Bob Schieffer) and breaks it down. Caveat: there's some "adult" language in this.
