Infowars Money Bomb Marathon - Nov 03-04 TH/FR

.
Unless you've been under a rock for the past week or two, you know that at 11:00 a.m. Central Time today Alex Jones launched a 27 hour marathon broadcast session. I tried with last year's version of this annual event to record and upload the entire thing. To put it mildly, it was a big pain in the... neck. The problem was that after the 4th hour -- when the broadcast becomes internet-only -- breaks at the end of each hour were often not taken. Having a good place to stop each file for processing and uploading becomes rather problematic.

I don't know, but I suspect it's going to run something like this again this year. So I am not promising to capture and upload every minute of every hour. I will promise to do my best. I don't have the set-up to do simultaneous recording and editing, so what I'll be uploading during this time will most likely not be commercial-free. And because I cannot record and edit at the same time, some shows I would normally handle on a Thursday may not be uploaded until tomorrow.

And since I'm going to be trying to do lots of things quickly, at least the initial uploads are probably going to be to filehosts, rather than to the bit torrent system. It's just easier and faster, which is what I need today.

Wish me luck!

The goal Alex has set for this fund-raising effort is $500,000, as as of about 8:00 p.m. (nine hours into the marathon broadcast) he has received in excess of $146,000.

After a good deal of thought, I decided to take this occasion to make a request of my own for donations in support of the work that I do here. I don't ask very often, in part because I know money is tight for virtually everyone now. I don't want to seek for sympathy by airing a bunch of details of the financial calamities that have befallen us in the last few months. I will just say that our need is genuinely significant.

Alex is shooting for $500,000. My grandest dream would be to raise one tenth of one percent of that... $500, in other words. That would be around ten times the total donations received in October [$56]. If you find value in the work I do here, seven days a week, please contribute what you feel that you can.

If you'd rather not use PayPal, email me and I will give you a physical mail address. If you would rather not send a check or a money order, perhaps you could send a silver dime or quarter via physical mail. The email address is sebaygo1 at gmail.com. Thank you for your consideration.
