Catching Up on Jan 04 TU

Sometimes when one drops the ball, it only seems right to go back and pick it up before going forward. Yesterday started out as a bad day and seemed to unravel more with each passing hour. The good news is that our heating system is working fine this morning. The news that makes me a bit wary about this day is that we have had a brief electrical power outage for no apparent reason [zero inclement weather in the area]. Lights are on now, though, so here we go.
