On this episode of Breaking the Set, Abby Martin talks to Phyllis Bennis, Director of the New Internationalism Project at the Institute for Policy Studies, about the symbolism and significance of Obama's recent trip to Israel, Palestine and the potential for peace between the two countries. Abby then has a discussion with Rashad Robinson, Executive Director at Color of Change, about the social construct of race in the media and how these stereotypes of African Americans are reflected in reality. BTS then wraps up the show with a look at a new petition calling for politicians to display the names and logos of their corporate sponsors on their suits and highlights what a few politicians would look like if this petition went into effect.
