The Alex Jones Show -- 2011 Nov 02 WE
An hour and twenty minutes after the end of today's radio show PrisonPlanet.tv still does not have a usable .mp3 file posted in the members' area (the one that's available is only 12K in size). So, I'm going to have to go to GCN, get the hourly podcast files there, and edit out the commercials. Which is what I'd be doing is I had not spent money on a PrisonPlanet subscription. The bottom line is that it will be a while yet before I have today's Jones show uploaded.
From the Infowars web site :: On the Wednesday edition of the Alex Jones Show, Alex talks with the founder, main songwriter, guitarist, and lead vocalist for the heavy metal band Megadeth, Dave Mustaine.
He also talks with former Minnesota governor, Navy SEAL veteran, and television and radio host Jesse Ventura, who will break news on today's show.
Alex breaks down the Greek economic implosion and the possibility the Mediterranean nation will hold a referendum and may not pay the debt it is claimed they owe to international bankers.

The Peter Schiff Show -- 2011 Nov 02 WE
Peter's guest today was Harry Dent, founder of HS Dent Investment Management and author of The Great Depression Ahead, on why precious metals are in a bubble.
Unfortunately, I am having essentially the same problem with SchiffRadio.com that I had at PrisonPlanet.tv. Peter has been making available a lower quality (but still quite usable) audio file at his site -- lower quality than what his paid subscribers receive, that is. I've been trying since about 30 minutes after his broadcast today ended and the only thing I am able to download is a non-playable .mp3 file that is 12K in size.
There is no alternative site [like GCNLive.com is for the Jones show] on which audio of his shows is available for free. Peter's shows are not archived at Radio America, unlike the shows of most of their other hosts. All I can say is that I'll continue trying.

7:30 and the webcast has not started. They've never been this late before.

KPFA said that this is the entire Part One which was ruined last week due to fundraising interruptions and truncation. Unfortunately the end of this one is chopped off as well, literally interrupting Fitts in mid-sentence.

Sounds like GCN are tightening the purse strings...I've a feeling your work here is going to get alot harder my friend, funny how the shows that don't centre "directly" around money(Rivero, Watt) seem to be some of your less troublesome.....money corrupts?

Could be, roonster. But GCN so far remains a reliable fallback for getting Jones material. I just have more editing work to do on their files. The problems I am having most recently are with Jones and Schiff directly. I am not in a position to complain much about Schiff since I am not a subscriber, but it says something that he is the only host on Radio America who will not let that network archive podcast files for his show.
The problems I have had getting Jones files have been with PrisonPlanet.tv directly, and I am a member there. I emailed them yesterday about the issue with the members podcast file for the Wednesday show. It has been about 20 hours and I have received no reply. I can only guess that they are too busy with the money bomb.
