On this episode of Breaking the Set, Abby Martin talks to peace activist, Cindy Sheehan, about 'Tour de Peace' an ambitious initiative to bike across the country and demand an end to US wars and militarism. Abby then breaks down the military propaganda during last night's Oscars ceremony and highlights Palestinian filmmaker, Emad Burnat, as the day's hero. Abby then speaks to the legislative representative for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Mike Dolan, about the Trans-pacific Partnership (TPP), the Obama administration's efforts for a new trade agreement with the EU, and the negative implications of said agreements. BTS wraps up the show with a look at the ongoing nuclear crisis at the Hanford Nuclear site in Washington State, as yet another example of a 'Sacrifice Zone' where the most vulnerable among us are most at risk.
