She is the founder and chair of The Free and Equal Elections Foundation, president and ceo of Free and Equal, Inc. She also serves on the board of the Coalition for Free and Open Elections.

The Free and Equal Elections Foundation is holding a presidential debate in Chicago on October 23. Confirmed participants are: Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson, Green Party candidate Jill Stein, Constitution Party candidate Virgil Goode, and Justice Party candidate Rocky Anderson.

Barack Obama and Mitt Romney were also invited.
