[7:56 p.m. CST] Still waiting for the Nightly News show to start [should have begun at 7:00]. And, once again, as is the case on most weeknights, Mrs. S wound up eating dinner alone. She has been making that kind of sacrifice for four months now, and I know she's tired of it... well, I certainly know I am tired of it. I'm going to have to rethink how I handle this program. Suggestions are welcome.

[8:21 p.m. CST] The webcast still has not started. If I'd had any idea that the show was going to be more than an hour late, I could have easily uploaded today's Guns and Butter during this time.

[8:33 p.m. CST] The webcast finally began about 2 minutes ago. There is no audio; I have tried all three streams. The video is of Alex apparently having a conversation with someone dressed as the "Cobra Commander" character from the G.I. Joe movie.

[8:38 p.m. CST] Webcast has restarted, there is audio this time.

Evidently the webcast started an hour and a half late to give Alex time to set up and record himself in a cheesy "Cobra Commander" costume so that he could later pretend to interview himself. Then there's the high-tech computer graphic of a "cobra flag" waving in the background. Thankfully that self-indulgent little farce was only about 8 minutes long.
